Now your link collection becomes a real order — and the first of the two payments happens here.
What happens in this step?
You give your agent the product link, choose variant and quantity, and the agent buys the item from the seller for you. You now pay the product price plus any service fee — international shipping comes later, in step 6.
The path is nearly identical across agents: paste the link into the agent's search bar — or, if the how2ship link converter supports your agent, convert the link there and open it directly.
After the purchase it takes a few days, depending on the seller, until the goods reach your agent's warehouse. That is where the QC photos pick up.
How to do it
Convert the link
Paste your Taobao, Weidian or 1688 link into the link converter. It supports a selection of agents — if yours is among them, you land directly on the product page inside their system. Otherwise use the path from step 2 of this how-to.
Choose the exact variant
Colour, size, version — exactly the combination you vetted in step 3. If anything is ambiguous, use the order's remark field: note the desired cm measurement there, for example.
Pay the first payment
Product price plus any fees, usually by card or the payment methods your agent offers. Keep the order confirmation.
Wait for warehouse arrival
The agent buys, the seller ships domestically to the warehouse. You follow the status in your agent's dashboard — patience, this often takes several days.
What to pay attention to
- The variant must be right — the agent buys exactly what you select and does not check whether it fits your intention.
- Not every item is in stock: if something is sold out, agents usually refund — handling differs per agent.
- Prices in the agent's system can differ slightly from the marketplace (exchange rate, the agent's fee model).
Typical beginner mistakes
- Clicking the wrong variant and relying on the QC photos — a return costs time even though it is cheap within China.
- Submitting items to several agents and losing the warehouse bundling.
- Leaving the remark field empty although the variant selection was unclear.
