Pick your agent in the comparison

Shipping is often the single biggest cost of a haul — and the only one you can properly compare before signing up anywhere.

What happens in this step?

All agents ultimately buy from the same shops — the big difference is international shipping: price, delivery time and the lines available for your destination. That is exactly what how2ship compares, with current prices from the agents' own shipping calculators.

For a fair comparison, one rule matters: identical inputs. Same weight, same destination, same shipping type — otherwise you are comparing apples to oranges.

how2ship deliberately separates two things: the ranking is neutral, sorted purely by price or delivery time. Next to it there is a clearly labeled personal recommendation with a disclosed business relationship — it never changes the ranking.

How to do it

  1. Estimate your weight

Already know what goes into the haul? Use the haul planner inside the comparison: pick your items and it projects a realistic total weight. No plan yet? 5 kg is a common starting point for a medium haul.

  2. Set destination and shipping type

Pick your country and leave the shipping type on “All lines” at first — see the whole field before you filter.

  3. Read the list as a whole

The cheapest price sits on top, but look at the delivery time next to it. A few euros more for half the transit time can be money well spent.

  4. Check coupons and details

Some agents run new-customer coupons — they show right on the result and on the agent's page in the directory. Exact fees and conditions come from the agent itself.

What to pay attention to

  • Always compare with identical inputs — weight, destination, shipping type. That one rule carries the whole comparison.
  • The price in the comparison comes from the agent's own shipping calculator and is an estimate for your input weight; it only becomes final after weighing at the warehouse.
  • Recommendation and ranking are two different things: the recommendation is a disclosed opinion, the order of the list is untouched by it.

Typical beginner mistakes

  • Comparing with fantasy weights and being surprised by a very different shipping bill later.
  • Only looking at rank 1 and ignoring delivery time, coupons or fees.
  • Switching agents for every order — warehouse bundling only works with one agent per haul.

Quick checklist

  • My weight is estimated (haul planner or a realistic figure).
  • I compared with my real destination country.
  • I looked at price AND delivery time, not just rank 1.
  • I picked an agent and created an account.
